We all have our 2018 New Year’s Resolution and some of the most common ones are the following: Diet and Healthy Living, Exercise More, Save Money & Start Investing, Spend more time with loved ones and family, Travel More.
For me, one thing that I should focus more this 2018 is my diet and health. I’m rather sickly and I have asthma, lots of allergies and constantly suffering from back pains probably because of my weight problem.
I’ve learned that the key to success is to consistency. You can’t start the year then throw your plans and resolutions after a week or a month. So it’s vital to have the willpower to do your plans and goals in life.
I’m currently doing the no-rice challenge since I’ve noticed how much that affects my weight gain. So as a substitute, I’m also looking for other ways to intake more healthy alternatives and choices.
I’ve also been suffering a lot with back pains which may be associated with bone problems since I don’t drink milk as often as I would have liked and I don’t eat too much calcium-rich food. My body is indicating that this has to change as well.
I have to be honest that I’m not a fan of milk. I’m only able to have milk when my breakfast includes cereals. When we were growing up, we were kind of spoiled with Milk Chocolate so I didn’t have the opportunity to love Plain Milk.
However, I’ve noticed that as we grow older, our bones also become brittle & since I plan to start my 2018 with healthy choices, I know I have to step up so I won’t have too many regrets as I grow older.
Seriously, it’s hard to choose a brand of milk since there are myriads of milk brands on the market today and it’s really hard to pick a brand that caters to what I really need for my body.
It’s quite timely that I’ve recently been introduced to Athena, the milk specially formulated to meet the special nutritional needs of women today. Yes, there are a lot of milk brands out there but most of them cater to the general public. Athena, on the other hand, formulated their milk with us women in mind. I imagine that men and women have slightly different needs and that may also indicate that we also need different types of milk nutrients and components.
Women, even if you’re not a wife or a mother, are basically more prone to work and stress since we also have to take of the household chores and our family. So if you’re someone who has a very active lifestyle and you want to strike a balance between work and personal time to enjoy your life to the fullest, then you have to take care of your health.
Aside from health, we also have to remain fit and attractive to our partner and the only way to that is to live a healthy life and have healthy choices.
Athena gives our body high calcium intake which essential for optimum bone health. It’s also a good source of Vitamins D, K, Magnesium, and Phosphorus, nutrients to help maintain strong bones.
Athena is also low in fat so you can enjoy this beverage without the risk of high caloric intake and it is a good source of Anti-oxidants such as Vitamins A & E and Zinc to help maintain healthy skin and promote optimum immune function.
